وقفت	حروفي	عند	باب	نشيدي
lost	my words	at	door	my nasheed

my words have been lost at the door of my nasheed

والشوق	يركض	في	مجال	وريد
and longing	run	in	domain	vein

and the longing ( for the love of Allah) runs in the domain of my viens (blood)

و	الريشة	الخضراء	تهتف	في	يدي
&	pen (quill)		calling out	in	my hand

and the pen (quill) in my hand is tahtifu (calling out)

هيا	أبدأي	يا	ريشتي	و	أعيدي
come	start	o	pen (quill)	&	repeat

come start open (quill) and repeat..2x

يا	قارئ	القرآن	داوي	قلوبنا
o	recitor	Quran	cure	our heart

O recitor of the Quran, cure our hearts

بتلاوة	تزدان	بالتجويدِ
recitation	raised	tajweed

with the recitation that is raised by tajweed!

هذي	ينابيع	الكتاب	تدفقت
these	springs	book	poured

these are springs of the book (i.e: Quran) being poured

تجري	بنور	في	الحياة	جديدِ
they run	by light	in	life	new

they run with Nur (light) in my new life..2x

lost	my words	at	door	my nasheed

my words have been lost at the door of my nasheed…2x

والشوق	يركض	في	مجال	وريد

كم	فارس	في	الحرب	نال	شهادةً
how many	fighters	in	fight /war	wanted	martrydom

so many fighters who faught (in the cause of Allah) as if they wanted martrydom

ويكون	عند	الله	غير	شهيد
and they	with	Allah	non	martyr

but to Allah, they were not martyrs

كم	قارئ	في	الناس	يُحمد	ذكره
how many	recitors	in	people	praise	mentioned

sow many recitors in the eyes of people they are mentioned amongst the people as benevolent

و يكون	عند	الله	غير	حميد
and they	with	Allah	non	praise-worthy

but to Allah they are not even praise-worthy..2x
